Newhouse Fellow Program
This 30-month program provides for 18 months of graduate study leading to master’s degree at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, internships and a post-grad professional apprenticeship. Asian American Journalists Association
Offers scholarships to outstanding high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students. Students are selected based on the following criteria 1) commitment to the field of journalism; 2) sensitivity to Asian American issues as demonstrated by community involvement; 3) journalistic ability; and, 4) financial need.

National Association of Hispanic Journalists
Provides several different scholarship opportunities for college undergraduates and graduates who are pursuing careers in print or broadcast journalism. Awards range from $1,000 – $5,000.
