How to Join the Meiklejohn Fellows Program

The Meiklejohn Fellows Program offers first-year FLI students the opportunity to participate in an academic year-long program designed to help students develop an understanding of their unique career interests and how to explore them as an undergraduate through summer experiential learning opportunities, such as summer internships. Meiklejohn Fellows benefit from career advising from a dedicated professional staff member, mentorship and community from other FLI students, programming, and support, including assistance with finding meaningful summer opportunities.

  • Build a sense of community and share knowledge with fellow first-year FLI students
  • Acquire understanding of the types of industries and fields that match true interests and priorities
  • Receive guidance on the internship search process through workshops and advising appointment
  • Learn about about on campus summer opportunities and how to apply them through engaging Lunch & Learn sessions
  • Make meaningful connections and have career conversations with young FLI alumni and older Meiklejohn Fellows
