Media Production Intern
SCOPE
The Media Production Intern will support our digital presence through website updates and short-form video production for social media. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in media production, video editing, or digital marketing who wants hands-on experience creating and publishing real-world content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Website Edits & Updates
- Make routine content updates to website pages, including copy, images, and links
- Upload and format new pages, posts, and media assets in the CMS
- Audit pages for broken links, outdated content, and mobile display issues
- Short-Form Video Production & Editing
- Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, LinkedIn and other sites.
- Assist with concepting, scripting, and storyboarding video ideas
- Add captions, graphics, music, and motion elements in post-production
- Export and format video to platform specs while maintaining brand voice
- Content Calendar & Publishing
- Help build and maintain a content calendar for website and social posts
- Schedule and publish video content across social platforms
- Track deadlines and support timely execution of campaigns
- Media Asset Management
- Organize and archive raw footage, photos, and finished exports
- Maintain naming conventions and file structure for the media library
- Monitor post performance and flag content trends worth repeating
QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing or recently completed degree in Film/Video Production, Media, Communications, Marketing, or related field
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proficiency with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, or similar)
- Working knowledge of short-form video formats and social platform specs
- Basic photography, lighting, and audio capture skills a plus
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
