Tobacco Compliance Internship
The Town of Foxborough is seeking a Tobacco Compliance Intern to work with the Health Department. The Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Health, and the position will focus on reducing youth access to tobacco products by conducting compliance inspections within the Town of Foxborough. The Intern will learn about tobacco inspections, visit establishments with tobacco permits to attempt to purchase tobacco products, and help summarize the underage tobacco inspection results to the Board of Health.
The successful candidate will be currently enrolled in a local college and between the age of 18 and 20 years old. Students with a background in public health will be given preference. More specifically, the Town of Foxborough is looking for a student who wants to work in the local community, is professional and reliable, and is interested in public health.
SALARY: $20.00 hourly, part-time, non-benefitted.
