Role Description
The manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fundraising and community engagement for the organization. This includes managing and growing donor relationships, organizing fundraising events, and developing and executing a comprehensive development plan.
Qualifications
- Fundraising and development experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Event planning and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in grant writing and budgeting is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or related field is a plus
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing and fundraising strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on funding opportunities, including donor solicitation, sponsorships, and targeted campaigns.
- Lead efforts for individual and corporate giving, capital drives, and other specialized fundraising initiatives.
- Produce engaging content for fundraising, including website updates, newsletters, videos, homeowner testimonials and other promotional materials.
- Represent the organization through presentations to various community groups and stakeholders.
- Manage social media platforms and strengthen affiliate branding.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute special events to advance the organization’s mission and foster community engagement.
- Work with stakeholders to set event goals, themes, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, contracts, marketing, and day-of-event operations.
- Compile and present reports for the President/CEO and Board
