The Role and Responsibilities
- This Business Development Specialist will lead sales initiatives with potential and existing clients to establish new business and will possess strong communication skills, think critically and have a demonstrated ability to execute sales strategies
- Develop and execute the business and client development strategy for NOA with a focus on growing revenue and relationships
- Develop an understanding of the NOA non profit Industry’s goals, helping to identify, assess, and pursue new clients
- Build relationships with new agencies and affiliates to enhance performance and explore additional advertising options.
- Oversee day-to-day onboarding activities for new accounts, collaborating with offer managers, tech, copywriting, and creative teams to optimize performance.
- Implement optimization strategies, including negotiating placements and testing different funnels, to maximize overall campaign performance.
- Working with the NOA and marketing team and other business support colleagues to:
- identify opportunities to create and implement integrated branding and profile-raising campaigns
- identify the appropriate client and market targets for the delivery of knowledge marketing
- Building a good working knowledge of adjacent practice and industry group services and a clear understanding of relevant group’s strategy, priorities and clients
- Communicating best practice business development activities and successes across the group
- As a seasoned sales professional, you have outstanding interpersonal skills and the desire to help impact this company’s growth, working alongside a driven and entrepreneurial team
- This Business Development Specialist position will focus on high volume temp business within NOA
- The role will focus on California and the US territory, but there is no real restriction on geography
Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Prior industry related business development experience
- Search engine optimization (SEO) experience.
- Must have a positive attitude, strong written and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent planning and organization skills to support brand objectives.
