Position Overview
The Marketing Technology Intern position reports to the Marketing Automation Manager. The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy is looking for a summer intern to join the User Experience (UX) team. As a member of the User Experience team, you will assist with email campaigns, web content production, and other tasks related to enhancing outreach and engagement. The UX team values analytical skills, attention to detail, investigation, and collaboration. This is a paid internship opportunity.
This is a part-time position with work to be performed on-site in Cambridge, MA for up to 18 hours/week for up to 12 weeks reporting to the Marketing Automation Manager. The hourly rate for this role is $18/hr.
No travel required.
What You’ll Do
- Learn the basic tenets of permissions-based marketing, as well as GDPR and other privacy frameworks, and learn the fundamentals of our marketing automation platform (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, formerly known as Pardot).
- Assist Marketing Automation Manager with email production tasks and other marketing automation tasks as needed.
- Investigate special topics in email newsletter best practices, such as accessibility.
What You’ll Need
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree program. Completion of at least one year in a degree program related to Computer Science, Communications, or a related field desired.
- Skills in HTML, CSS, and knowledge of website content updating platforms desirable.
- Prior experience with email communications helpful but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
