Youth Apprenticeship Week 2024

This year marks the inaugural National Youth Apprenticeship Week (YAW), a nationwide celebration aimed at emphasizing the advantages and significance of Registered Apprenticeship program opportunities for young individuals aged 16-24. YAW involves various stakeholders such as employers, educators, labor unions, and workforce professionals who are launching Registered Apprenticeship initiatives. These programs enable youth to earn competitive wages while gaining relevant training and experience to kickstart their careers in diverse industries like cybersecurity, healthcare, gaming, manufacturing, clean energy, engineering, artificial intelligence, transportation, and robotics.
