>> My name is Heather Marcadony [assumed spelling]. I work for a company called Medical Risk Management and I specialized in risk management consulting for health care professionals and institutions. I work with physicians and other health care professionals on a daily basis. I work with some of the largest hospital systems in Connecticut and in the northeast. It's been a very exciting transition from an internship now into middle management so it's been pretty exciting. And my primary responsibilities are to monitor client activities, to manage some client account managers that report into me, and to make sure that the client is satisfied. So we do a number of live presentations at hospitals and physician groups across the northeast. We'll do things like risk management rounds, which are case based learning activities. So we'll dissect a medical mal-practice case, walk them through the medical chronology, the allegations that were filed in the case, how the case panned out in court, and then some risk management takeaways that they can incorporate into their daily practice. So that's one activity that I do. We also provide web based education so we'll roll out the web based education to the client. We'll staff some of their meetings for them. So anything that has to do with risk management we typically help them with so we'll go to their meetings, we'll prepare the agenda for them, we'll staff it so we'll do all of the minutes and the follow-up then we coordinate all of their risk management actives, both on the consulting side and education. We try to do preventative so we're trying to prevent the cases from being filed. We are not attorneys so we do not defend the physicians when they do have a medical malpractice case filed against them. So our goal is to help prevent cases from being filed and if they are filed hopefully decrease the severity of them. Our mantra is every case saved is a patient saved. So if we can prevent that case from being filed well maybe the patient was never injured to being with. Because I work with a number of the client account managers I travel across the north east. I have clients down in New York City, up in Massachusetts, across to Rhode Island. We do have a couple down in New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well so we do travel a little bit. We are growing though. We do hope to go national so there will be more traveling involved and because we are working with physicians we have to accommodate their schedules. So sometimes we're doing presentations at six thirty seven in the morning, sometimes they're doing them seven o'clock at night. So we are very flexible in terms of timing, we have to be as a company. So my days vary greatly but it keeps it exciting that way, it's never no day is ever the same.
