Amherst is one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country, and, as an institution, we are committed to fighting systemic racism and all forms of discrimination. We in the Loeb Center extend this commitment to the work we do on our students’ behalf with employers and other external partners. Because students who hold marginalized identities may face specific employment and career advancement barriers, we seek to build partnerships with employers who not only value and promote diversity recruitment, but also support their diverse workforces with thoughtful approaches to inclusion, mentorship, and equitable policies.
