Compensation: TBC

About Us:

We are a mission-driven recuperative care startup focused on providing safe, dignified post-hospital care for individuals experiencing homelessness. As we expand our services, we are seeking a motivated and outgoing Business Development & Outreach Intern who’s excited to help grow our impact and be the face of our organization in key community and professional settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in healthcare marketing, public relations, and strategic outreach—while working alongside a passionate founding team.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our team, you will:

Conduct outreach to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare networks to build referral relationships and secure service contracts.

Engage with case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and county officials to promote our facility and services.

Attend meetings, luncheons, and community events representing our organization with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Develop and deliver presentations and promotional materials tailored to potential partners and referral sources.

Track outreach efforts, lead follow-ups, and contribute to CRM/contact database management.

Support the development of outreach campaigns, digital materials, and community engagement strategies.

Help craft messaging that highlights our unique impact in addressing housing instability through healthcare.

Participate in internal team meetings to share insights from the field and help shape marketing strategy.

Who You Are:

Passionate about healthcare, social impact, and community outreach.

Strong verbal and written communicator; confident representing a brand or organization.

Self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced startup environment.

Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional meetings or events during lunch or evening hours.

Familiarity or interest in public health, social services, or healthcare systems is a plus.

Experience with Canva, Google Workspace, or CRM platforms is a bonus, but not required.

Why Join Us?

Direct path to a permanent role with long-term career growth.

Make a real difference in the lives of underserved populations.

Gain exposure to high-level strategy, partnerships, and healthcare innovation.

Opportunity to help build a brand from the ground up.

Collaborative, mission-focused culture that values your ideas and impact.
