The Still Point is a holistic wellness space in Takoma Park, Maryland — nearly 20 years old, rooted in this community, and built around the belief that some things can’t be automated. We are one of them.

We’re looking for a part-time Brand & Content Coordinator to execute our marketing operations — social media, email campaigns, and on-site content capture — within a clearly defined system. The strategy and copy direction are in place. Your job is to bring them to life with care and consistency.

What you’ll do
Visit the spa weekly (Takoma Park) to capture photo and video content on your phone — real moments, natural light, authentic brand imagery
Run the monthly content planning session using our established AI briefing system to produce social captions, email copy drafts, and a content calendar
Build and schedule approved social posts for Instagram and Facebook (2x/week feed + stories)
Draft and build email campaigns in Mango Mint following our approval workflow
Produce a simple monthly one-page report pulling metrics from Mango Mint, Klaviyo, and Instagram
Draft Google and Yelp review responses for founder approval
What we’re looking for
Local to the DMV — you must be able to visit Takoma Park weekly
Strong writer with a feel for brand voice — you read carefully and notice when something sounds off
Organized and self-directed — you can run a monthly system without hand-holding
Comfortable using AI tools as a drafting assistant (we’ll teach you our system)
Genuine interest in wellness, community, or holistic health is a plus — but not required
Current student or recent graduate welcome
Details
~10–12 hours per week, flexible schedule
Contractor role with potential to grow into employment
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
You’ll work closely with the founder and have real creative responsibility from day one

To apply, send a brief note about why this role interests you and two writing samples — anything that shows you can write with warmth and specificity. No cover letter template needed. Just write to us like a person.
