Graphic Design Intern (Summer Internship)

About The Nash Collection
The Nash Collection is a Nashville-based lifestyle and apparel brand inspired by the culture, energy, and identity of the city. We create thoughtfully designed products that connect with both locals and visitors through bold, clean, and story-driven design.

Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team for a Paid Summer internship. This role will primarily focus on apparel graphics, with additional exposure to print and digital design. The intern will work closely with our creative team to support ongoing design projects while developing their skills in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment. This internship has the potential to lead to a full-time role with the company.

What You’ll Do
• Assist in creating graphics for apparel, including t-shirts, hats, and accessories
• Support the development of marketing materials such as social media graphics, email campaigns, and website assets
• Help prepare print-ready files for production, including apparel graphics, hang tags, packaging, and promotional materials
• Assist in designing in-store signage and retail graphics
• Create mockups and presentation visuals for new product concepts
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for seasonal collections and campaigns
• Research design trends in apparel, streetwear, and lifestyle brands
• Assist with organizing and maintaining design files and asset libraries

What You’ll Learn
• End-to-end design process from concept to production, with a strong focus on apparel
• Apparel design workflows, including print methods and file setup
• Brand consistency across apparel, retail, and digital platforms
• Collaboration within a creative and production team
• Real-world deadlines, revisions, and feedback

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design or a related field

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong eye for typography, layout, and composition
• Interest in apparel, branding, and lifestyle design
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Organized and detail-oriented

Bonus Points
• Experience with apparel design or print production
• Basic illustration skills
• Interest in Nashville culture, music, and local brands

Details
Location: Nashville, TN (in-person preferred)
Duration: Summer Internship
