SENIOR DESIGNER

THE MONUMENT is a design and animation studio where visual language is pushed to its limit. We don’t just move pixels; we build worlds. The Design & Motion Team at The Monument is at the forefront of the industry, merging cinematic storytelling, future technologies, and cultural influences to create powerful visual narratives. This team plays a crucial role in delivering innovation to some of the world’s most renowned brands and agencies.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Senior Designer who excels in storytelling through design. You should have a proven record of excellence in creating styleframes and boards, an insatiable curiosity for creative problem-solving, and a genuine passion for the motion industry.

You approach challenges with optimism and possess an exceptional eye for design and composition. You have strong conceptualization skills and are adept at designing the visual foundations that tell compelling stories. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand how to create work that resonates with both high-level clients and global audiences.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will be responsible for visual development of our projects, from initial concepting to storyboard delivery. You will be a lead voice in defining the aesthetic of our output.

Styleframe Design: Create high-fidelity styleframes that define the art direction, lighting, and texture of a project.

Storyboarding: Develop comprehensive boards that translate scripts into clear, cinematic sequences for the animation team.

Concept Development: Brainstorm and execute creative strategies that solve complex visual problems.

Collaboration: Partner closely with the Creative Director and the Animation Team throughout the production lifecycle to ensure the design integrity is maintained from still frame to final render.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

Portfolio: A creative design portfolio is required. We are looking for specialized expertise in Styleframes and Storyboarding.

Artistry: An incredible eye for composition, typography, and color theory. You should be comfortable working across a variety of visual styles.

Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is essential.

Communication: The ability to articulate your design rationale to the Creative Director and stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Agility: A positive attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects with varying complexities and deadlines.
