Behavioral Health Technician

- Provide 1:1 and intervention including behavior modification techniques and proactive strategies to stabilize the child or adolescent as outlined in the service plan.
- Work collaboratively with the manager and team members to ensure the service plan is meeting the child’s needs and recommends other services.
- Provide therapeutic supervision of children in our care during treatment and educational activities.
- Support family and school personnel in their efforts to stabilize the child by providing information, guidance, modeling, and counseling.
- Document behavioral progress and collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and experience working with children/ adolescents which varies by program and requirements of the managed care organization (MCO).
- Licensed as required by state.
- A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance.
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
