About Rodeo

Rodeo is the digital bulletin board for your life. Every place you’ve screenshotted, every “we should go here” that you forgot about, every event you lost track of all gets pinned all in one place. Built by a team that includes the former COO and CPO of Hinge, Rodeo turns your scattered plans into a list, a map, and a calendar. It’s social too, so you can go see what your friends have saved, and actually go do those things together.

The Opportunity

We’re hand-picking a founding cohort of Campus Ambassadors to bring Rodeo to our first group of universities this fall. This role is a real seat at the table with a founding team, building a social product that has scaled to over 50K users in less than a year and been featured in Forbes, WIRED, and more. You will have a first-hand opportunity to iterate alongside Rodeo’s team to shape the product through your feedback, and you’ll be the first person to bring Rodeo to your school community.

What You’ll Do

  • Make Rodeo’s Discover page THE go-to spot for what’s happening on your campus — import events consistently from clubs, flyers, Greek life, and local venues, so it feels full, exciting, and current every time students open the app
  • Report directly to Rodeo founding team on what’s landing and what isn’t through regular texting comms and biweekly live meetings — your feedback will help directly shape the product (and company!) roadmap
  • Drive user growth on campus in a variety of creative ways. How you grow the Rodeo community will be tailored to your school, but some strategies might include:
    • Get your clubs, orgs, and friend groups onto Rodeo directly
    • Partner with student leaders, faculty, etc. on campus to onboard their orgs and members to Rodeo as the source of truth for what’s happening
    • Repost Rodeo content on your social channels to drive growth
    • Test creative ways to grow Rodeo on your campus — events, activations, social media, physical flyers or collateral, tabling — however info is best shared at your school

Who You Are

  • You’re a junior or senior genuinely plugged into and active within campus life — through clubs, Greek life, student organizations, or athletic teams (highly involved sophomores: we’d love to hear from you, too!)
  • You know what events are happening on and around campus, how those events are shared within the campus community, and what’s broken about that system
  • You light up at the idea of getting people off their phones and out into the world, doing cool things with their friends – and you’re fired up about the chance to build the URL > IRL movement on your campus
  • You’re highly dependable, self-motivated, creative and scrappy, a strong communicator, and EXCITED to build something early where you’re writing the playbook (you can take something from idea / vision all the way through details of execution independently)

What You’ll Get

  • Monthly base pay of $100 ($500 for the semester) — and up to $1,500 performance bonus for meeting growth goals on your campus
  • An official title and resume credential as a founding Campus Ambassador for a top venture-backed tech startup, with a role that spans growth, marketing, community, and product
  • Direct mentorship and consistent access to Rodeo’s founding team, including our CEO, CPO, and Head of Growth
  • Early access to unreleased features and permanent “Rodeo Insider” status
  • First in line for future paid roles, including internships and full-time hires
  • A letter of recommendation for standout performers
