What You’ll Do:
As a Summer Intern, you will be embedded within our technical operations team, gaining hands-on experience with some of the most innovative defense technology systems in development today.
Your responsibilities will include:
- System Testing & Validation: Assist with testing protocols by connecting and configuring test equipment, running established test procedures, and documenting results in a structured format.
- Technical Report Writing: Draft clear, professional technical reports summarizing test findings, system performance observations, and troubleshooting outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic Troubleshooting: Perform first-line troubleshooting on hardware and software systems, escalating complex issues to senior engineers while maintaining detailed documentation of steps taken.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface directly with engineers, project managers, and program staff, serving as a bridge between technical teams and operational reporting requirements.
Who We’re Looking For:
Students currently pursuing a degree in:
- Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Information Technology
- Business Information Systems
- Technology Management, or a related field
We’re looking for someone who is comfortable navigating technology — you don’t need to be a programmer or hardware engineer, but you should be curious about how things work and confident learning new tools and concepts. Strong written communication skills are essential, along with an eagerness to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

- Comfort with technology and an interest in cybersecurity, data privacy, AI, or the automotive industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to commute to our Sterling, VA office for the duration of the internship
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (or recent graduate)
