Junior Financial Assistant – Preferred candidate: students graduating in 2026.
Core Accounting Support
• Assist with Accounts Payable processes, including invoice verification, matching, and record maintenance
• Support Accounts Receivable activities, including tracking outstanding balances and following up on customer payments
• Prepare and organize documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance
Reconciliations and Reporting
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations under guidance
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules
• Support month end close activities, including checklist tracking and documentation
Systems and Process Support
• Maintain accurate financial records within accounting systems such as QuickBooks
• Assist in improving and documenting accounting procedures and internal controls
• Participate in special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, with GAAP familiarity preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Effective communication skills and a proactive, willingness to learn
• Prior internship experience, relevant coursework, or exposure to ERP systems is a plus
• Experience or familiarity with manufacturing, project based, or multinational environments is preferred
• Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred)
