Are you adventurous with an education background? Looking for a high-impact, hands-on way to support missions through teaching? Apply to be an International School Teacher at Dakar Academy School (DA) through Mesa Global .

Join a vibrant educational community in Dakar, Senegal, as a teacher or skilled staff member and become an active partner in fulfilling the Great Commission. DA is seeking qualified teachers and staff members who are committed to investing in students’ lives and are willing to live out their faith both inside and outside the classroom.

Compensation & Benefits

DA offers a generous stipend and benefits including furnished housing, utilities, and medical insurance subsidy. In this role, you will be employed by Mesa Global where we will train you on how to raise additional support to cover travel, student loans, savings for retirement, and other living costs. You will be placed at DA for your day-to-day work

About Senegal

Senegal, a coastal country in West Africa, is located in the 10/40 window with a population that’s nearly 95% Muslim. The capital city of Dakar is a strategic gateway city for the region. Senegal has low literacy + education rates, especially for women, and many characteristics of a developing nation. Workers with teaching + compassion skills are needed strategically to come alongside Senegalese believers and contribute to the spiritual + holistic development of the country.

About the Mesa Global Team in Dakar

Alongside your community at Dakar Academy, you’ll be connected with an experienced and vibrant Mesa Global team in Dakar made up of multiple families and singles who you’ll meet with regularly for fellowship, meals, prayer and community.
