Hoboken Grace is a growing, contemporary Christian church seeking to discover what it means to follow Jesus Christ in our city! As we have grown, so have our opportunities. Every employee is an important part of the team.

Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time intern for our Grace Kids Department. The individual will work directly with our Director of Grace Kids to ensure the department provides fun and safe environments where all kids can grow in their authentic faith.

This position is ideal for anyone who is pursuing a career in either Special Education or Children’s Ministry and is looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a non-profit environment. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ, and must be eligible to work in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be comfortable working with children and families with special needs
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail and task-oriented
  • Must be able to multitask and balance multiple projects
  • Must be able to work on-site

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with preparing an adapted curriculum
  • Organizing and maintaining curriculum and event supplies
  • Assisting with planning and executing Grace Kids events
  • Assisting children with special needs inside class environments with various age groups

SCHEDULE

  • September 16 – December 11, 2026
  • Part-time, 10 – 20 hours per week, depending on the candidate

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

  • $250 – $500 stipend at the end of the internship
