About Gratitude Network

Founded in 2014, Gratitude Network (GN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that improves the lives of children and youth around the world by accelerating the community impact of social entrepreneurs. Our flagship program, the Gratitude Network Fellowship, provides non-profit leaders with a suite of support to help them and their organization achieve long-term sustainability. About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven operator to support our Director of Impact & Engagement, Erica Jeffries. This role is ideal for: a savvy college student with real experience or a career professional looking to break into the nonprofit/social impact space. You’ll get hands-on experience across event planning, stakeholder engagement, and fundraising strategy—with a front-row seat to how a global nonprofit actually runs. You’ll also play a key role in executing our annual Gratitude Network Summit, a global convening of nonprofit leaders, funders, and partners.

What You’ll Do

1. Summit & Event Execution (Major Focus)

  • Support planning and execution of the Gratitude Network Summit (in San Francisco October 14-16)
  • Coordinate logistics (registration, communications, timelines)
  • Help manage speakers, volunteers, and partners
  • Track deliverables and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Support pre-event planning and post-event follow-up
  • Attend event and assist in its execution (if possible and all expenses will be covered)

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Draft and manage communications with alumni, donors, and partners
  • Support outreach efforts (LinkedIn, email campaigns, tracking)
  • Help build materials (one-pagers, decks, press language, etc.)
  • Assist with onboarding and engagement of board and volunteer groups

3. Research & Strategy Support

  • Conduct research on sponsors, partners, and event trends
  • Identify potential speakers, partners, and opportunities
  • Organize insights and recommendations for the team

Who You Are

  • Exceptionally organized—you don’t drop balls
  • A strong communicator (written + verbal)
  • Scrappy, proactive, and comfortable figuring things out
  • Detail-oriented and take pride in high-quality work
  • Energized by mission-driven work and global impact
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your time

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience with event planning, internships, leadership, sales, marketing
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Canva, or CRM tools
  • Interest in nonprofits, social entrepreneurship, or global development

What You’ll Gain

  • Real experience inside a high-growth, global nonprofit
  • Exposure to fundraising, partnerships, and event strategy
  • Direct mentorship from senior leadership
  • A powerful network of nonprofit and corporate leaders
  • A strong resume builder + professional reference
