Go Outdoors is seeking a highly motivated Acquisitions Associate Intern to support the firm’s investment efforts across outdoor recreational hospitality assets, with a primary focus on marina acquisitions. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of the acquisitions process, working alongside senior team members on active transactions at various stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating new acquisition opportunities, primarily within the marina sector, as well as adjacent outdoor hospitality asset classes (RV resorts, lodging, etc.)
- Support financial underwriting, including analysis of rent rolls, operating statements, and development of investment models
- Conduct market research and comparable analysis to inform acquisition strategy and pricing
- Participate in ongoing deal execution efforts across multiple live transactions, including diligence coordination and tracking
- Assist in reviewing legal documents, including Asset Purchase Agreements, leases, and third-party reports
- Maintain and enhance CRM systems (Salesforce) to track deal flow, ownership data, and sourcing efforts
- Support sourcing initiatives through targeted outreach, research, and pipeline development
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including brokers, legal counsel, and consultants
