Wealth Operations Intern

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Wealth Operations Intern to support the Operations team across a variety of initiatives and day-to-day workflows. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, curious, tech-savvy, and excited to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, process improvement, and business systems.
  • The intern will assist with operational support tasks, client outreach, data organization, account processing, and internal project work. This role will also provide exposure to emerging AI tools and automation initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable learning new systems quickly, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Role Functions

  • Support the Operations team with special projects and day-to-day operational tasks
  • Assist with client outreach and follow-up calls in a professional manner
  • Create, organize, and maintain operational datasets and spreadsheets
  • Assist with account trading workflows and operational processing tasks
  • Provide backup support coverage for internal teams as needed
  • Help document processes, workflows, and internal procedures
  • Support AI and automation initiatives by testing tools, organizing workflows, and helping build scalable systems
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and operational audits
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and industry requirements

Role Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, finance, operations, technology, communications, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new technology platforms and systems quickly
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with team members
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to support a variety of business functions

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or data organization tools
  • Interest in operations, fintech, wealth management, or process improvement
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or workflow automation platforms is a plus
  • Experience in customer service, administrative support, or project coordination is helpful but not required
  • Comfortable working with data, systems, and operational processes
  • Interest in building scalable workflows and improving team efficiency

There could be an option to convert into a full-time role after the summer or a potential to extend to part-time work into the school year
