Faxie turns a selfie into a short, shareable AI video of you. You take a selfie, record up to five seconds of what you want to say, and describe a scene. You get a 5-second video (i.e., a Faxie) of you in that scene, saying exactly what you recorded, ready to share with your friends.

We’re a small, fast-growing startup built by veteran Silicon Valley founders with multiple successful exits behind them. The growth loop runs on exactly the thing you’re being hired to drive: people getting a Faxie from their friend, making their own Faxie, and sharing it with their other friends.

About This Role

You are Faxie’s voice and Faxie’s presence on your campus.

Half the job is online. You manage our social accounts, make Faxies worth watching, and get them in front of people. You find trending conversations and reply with creative, humorous Faxies that land. The other half of the job is in -person. You show up at school events, approach other students between classes, put the app in their hands, and watch them make their first Faxie.

This is a real growth seat for a highly ambitious individual. Ambassadors who show they can move numbers grow into bigger scopes, and the strongest can grow into a full-time role as we scale.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

– You’re already extremely online and you know why a post works.

– You’d rather ship five posts today than plan one perfect post for next week.

– You’re not embarrassed to walk up to a stranger and talk to them about Faxie.

– You know funny when you see it.

– You’re a fast learner.

The best way to impress us is with the Faxie you include in your application.

What You’ll Do

Run the accounts. Own day-to-day posting on Faxie’s TikTok, Instagram, and X, plus replying to comments.

Make the content. Most of what you post, you’ll make yourself.

Reply into trends. Watch what’s spiking and get a relevant Faxie into the thread while it’s still hot. This is the highest-leverage thing you’ll do and it rewards speed over polish.

Evangelize on campus.** Represent Faxie at events, around campus restaurants, and wherever students gather.

Recruit users, one at a time.** Approach students, get them to make their first Faxie on the spot, and get them to send it to someone. A person who makes one and shares it is worth more than a hundred impressions.

Grow the referral loop.** Every Faxie shared carries an invite link. Get your circle using theirs, and help us figure out which framings actually make people redeem a code.

Tell us what you’re seeing. Report back weekly on what’s working, what’s flopping, what people say when they open the app, and where they get stuck. Bring us the objections.

Keep it safe and honest. Everything someone posts is with their own face, posted with their permission. No content using anyone else’s likeness, no fake testimonials, no invented numbers.

Who You Are

– Currently enrolled in a US college, university, or community college, with strong social ties on your campus.

– Native to short-form video. You use TikTok, Reels, and X the way you breathe.

– Comfortable in person. Talking to strangers energizes you rather than draining you.

– Self-directed. Nobody is going to assign you a daily task list. You’ll be given goals and trusted to figure out the route.

– Reliable. You post when you said you’d post and you show up to the thing you said you’d show up to.

– Available ~10 hours a week including some evenings and weekends when campus events happen.

Nice to Have

– An existing audience on TikTok, Instagram, or X

– You hold a role in a club, house, team, or organization with real reach on campus

Our Commitment to You

– Direct access to founders who’ve built and sold real companies. You’ll be on calls with them weekly.

– Real ownership of a growth channel, with the numbers to show for it.

– Creative freedom. If you want to try something, tell us you’ll usually hear back the same day.

– Flexible hours that bend around exams and breaks.

– Faxie credits for you and your friends.

– A clear path to a bigger scope and to full-time as we grow.
