About Crate&Barrel Planning and Allocation
The Planning and Allocation teams at Crate and Barrel are focused on developing and executing strategic inventory and merchandise plans. Their goal is to drive profitable sales growth while consistently meeting customer demand. The Planning function collaborates closely with the Allocation team, which is responsible for analyzing and efficiently distributing inventory to maximize the company’s sales and profitability.
Internship Summary
Our 10-week internship program will provide valuable exposure to the various areas and senior leadership within our Business Planning & Operations organization, and will allow you to gain meaningful experiences created by our dynamic business environment. You will be stretched to build on existing skills and challenges to maximize your learning agility. Your role will be a blend of immersion into the daily work of the team, as well as a project that you will fully own, designed to directly transform our business.
Day to day you will support multiple functions across the organization, including outlet stores, merchandise planning & allocation, and supply chain to name a few, learning about the retail business from a different perspective. You will partner with the Senior Director of Business Planning & Operations on a project to drive maximum profitability on products at the end of their life cycle. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the behind the scenes team that supports the business to be nimble and quick reacting to customer and business needs.
Interns are eligible for full-time consideration based on overall performance throughout the program period.

Intern Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program; anticipated graduation in Spring/Summer 2027
- Academic excellence and community involvement
- Previous business, related internship, or work experience
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during the summer (Mid June – Mid August 2026)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions (will not require sponsorship for employment visa at any point in the future)
