Don’t want to work for a company that just makes rich people richer? Care about mental health? You’re not alone. We’re mission driven because we don’t really see how you couldn’t be by this point.

For the first time since our founding we’re expanding Coursicle beyond course registration. With the addition of tasks, calendar, and the new features you’ll help us promote, we’re hoping students will begin to rely on Coursicle every day of the semester (click here for a demo of Coursicle’s features).

The main goal of this role is simple: bring in as many new users to Coursicle as possible. We’ll provide you with guidance on what videos to create – but how you present them is up to you. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your unique voice to the brand.

Details:

  • Open a new account and create short-form content to promote Coursicle
  • Get paid $500/month for posting twice per day, plus bonus compensation based on views
  • Gain experience in growth marketing at an edtech startup
  • Lifetime Coursicle premium

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion for social media and digital marketing
  • Self-starters who are excited about growing a brand and sharing something that actually helps students

Missions:

  • Mental health: we’ve seen first-hand the stigma that’s held toward mental illness (read our CEO’s essay about his struggle with anxiety and depression). It’s all too common to feel isolated and overwhelmed in college. Coursicle began as a way to reduce the anxiety of course registration and we’re continuing that effort by helping students feel more in control of their academic lives.
  • Wealth disparity: we don’t want to make the rich richer, so we don’t take investment and we don’t optimize for profit. We want to show the world that money can’t continue to be the end goal anymore and you can be successful without trying to squeeze every cent out of people.

If you’d like to apply, please send the following to joe@coursicle.com:

  • What school you go to
  • Your personal Instagram and TikTok handles
  • An idea for a short form video about Coursicle
