The Summer Analyst will support the investment research team in exploring new pipeline opportunities, benchmarking focus areas, analyzing market trends, understanding customer needs, and assisting with due diligence. There may be opportunities to contribute to workstreams for existing portfolio companies, including customer targeting and evaluating service line expansion.
We are seeking a highly motivated student who is eager to start their career as an investor and will bring an entrepreneurial mindset to their work with Care Equity. This position is for a 10-week internship opportunity, with the possibility of a full-time return offer.
Requirements:
- Track record of academic success >3.5 GPA
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Human Biology or a closely related field with a demonstrated interdisciplinary experience between biotechnology and business
- Analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
- Curious and resourceful approach to desktop research.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, proactive communication, ability to navigate ambiguity, and a strong drive to exceed expectations.
