Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nursing Student, where you will gain invaluable hands-on experience supporting patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing professionals. Responsibilities
- Assist with patient observation and monitoring, including tracking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Support nursing staff with basic procedures
- Conduct physical examinations and assist with patient assessments to gather relevant health information
- Maintain accurate medical records and review documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring correct dosages and timing
- Observe patients closely for changes in condition and report findings promptly to the healthcare team.
- Participate in the development and review of individualized care plans based on patient needs and physiology knowledge
Experience
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program or equivalent healthcare training course
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology principles.
- Familiarity with clinical procedures such as vital signs measurement, physical examinations, and documentation review.
- Experience or training in patient assessment techniques and care planning preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and support patient service efforts.
