Job Summary: The CAC, part of the Baldwin Group Summer Internship Program provides rising college seniors with practical, hands-on experience within the corporate risk management, and insurance industries. Interns in this 8-week program will gain exposure to risk management within a specific specialty line. Departmental/specialty line placement will be based on interest. We have internship opportunities in the following departments:

• Private Equity – Our Private Equity intern will gain exposure to the rapidly evolving and highly successful private equity sector where increased scrutiny has brought about heightened regulation, litigation, and unforeseen risks. This intern will be focused on an industry but will learn several different lines of insurance within the Private Equity space.
• Human Capital Risk- Our Human Capital Risk team partners with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to manage risks tied to their most valuable asset—their people. As a Human Capital Risk intern, you will gain firsthand exposure to both the acquisition due diligence process and the ongoing client service we provide to portfolio companies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to see how we evaluate human capital risks during transactions while also supporting the design and management of employee benefits programs that drive long-term value.
• Tax Insurance – The Tax Insurance Practice is a dynamic and collaborative team that develops innovative tax insurance solutions for clients. The Tax Insurance Intern will work alongside experienced tax attorneys, underwriters, and operations professionals to support the processes and workflows that drive the business. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the tax insurance business, including data management, process coordination, reporting, and workflow tracking. Interns will gain a broad understanding of how underwriting, legal, and operations teams collaborate to deliver solutions for clients.
