Position Overview

At ARETYN, growth starts with opportunity.

The Sales Development Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining the foundation of our sales pipeline. This role serves as the intelligence engine behind the Sales Team, identifying future opportunities, uncovering key market insights, and ensuring Sales Managers are focused on the highest-potential organizations.

Rather than spending the majority of your day making outbound calls, you will focus on researching, evaluating, and developing strategic target accounts that directly impact company revenue. Your work will influence where our Sales Team invests its time, which organizations we pursue, and how we continue expanding across North America.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, strategy, business intelligence, and problem-solving while gaining exposure to sales, partnerships, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Build the Future Sales Pipeline

  • Identify and develop new target accounts that align with ARETYN’s growth strategy.
  • Research youth soccer clubs, leagues, academies, and sports organizations throughout North America.
  • Track contract cycles, partnership opportunities, leadership changes, and organizational developments.
  • Create and maintain a consistent flow of qualified opportunities for the Sales Team.

Drive Market Intelligence

  • Become an expert on the competitive landscape within youth soccer and team sports.
  • Analyze organizations based on size, growth trajectory, geographic footprint, and partnership potential.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations on emerging opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable insights that support strategic sales decisions.

Own Data Quality & CRM Excellence

  • Maintain accurate and organized records within HubSpot CRM.
  • Verify, enrich, and update prospect and account information.
  • Ensure data integrity across all stages of the sales process.
  • Support forecasting, reporting, and territory planning initiatives.

Enable Sales Success

  • Prepare detailed account briefs for Sales Managers before meetings and presentations.
  • Support pipeline management and account prioritization.
  • Help leadership identify where future revenue opportunities exist.
  • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written communication abilities.
  • Ability to independently research and evaluate information.
  • High attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Comfortable working with data and technology platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace.

Preferred

  • Interest in sports business, business development, sales, or strategy.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience conducting market research or data analysis.
  • Soccer or sports industry knowledge is a plus.
