We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated educators to join our summer teaching team: a Mandarin Chinese Teacher and an Art Teacher, both serving students in grades 1–8.

If you have experience in only one of these areas but are eager to teach both, let us know, we’d love to hear from you!

Schedule: July 13 – August 21 | Monday – Friday | 1:30PM to 5PM

Shared Responsibilities

  • Implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles
  • Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to promote student success and address any challenges that arise

Mandarin Chinese Teacher — What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (reading/writing/speaking) with experience teaching the language from elementary and/or intermediate level students
  • Pursuing or have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment

Art Teacher — What We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching art (drawing/painting/sketching) to elementary-age students (grades 1–8)
  • Pursuing or have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Studio Art, or a related field
  • Ability to plan age-appropriate, hands-on art projects that spark creativity and self-expression
  • Strong classroom management skills with patience and enthusiasm for working with young learners
  • Familiarity with a range of media and techniques suitable for elementary students
