Our hospital has experienced record growth other the past few years. Through the collaborative efforts of our doctors, we have turned our hospital into a multifaceted practice:
• We pride ourselves in being a teaching/learning hospital. Our practice has mentored over a dozen veterinarians and veterinary students, and we currently have 6 veterinary assistants attending veterinary technician school.
• We have also become a local referral center for such things as ultrasound, endoscopic procedures, specialized exotic medicine and surgeries, laser surgery, dentistry and advance orthopedic surgeries including TTA Rapid and TPLO procedures. We even take on emergency cases during our regular operating hours.
• We have served our community for over 30 years as a privately owned practice. Our team is led by Dr Robin Knopp, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, with over 30 years of veterinary practice experience and private practice ownership. We
have been able to navigate the ever-expanding corporate take overs and maintain our ability to adapt and adjust in our industry allowing us to stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine.
• This gives us the freedom and opportunity to grow. We are looking to support more veterinarians who want to expand their practice and skill sets. No matter what your veterinary medicine passion is, we are looking to support and help you expand!
We are located in the heart of Virginia Beach, a city that has been voted one of the happiest destinations in the county. We are a centrally located coastal city filled with beautiful beaches, museums, nature reserves, entertainment venues, amusement parks and so much more.
