As an instructor, you will be expected to:
- Teach subject material with A ONE’s best-of-class textbooks and your own academic training.
- Instruct students in a dynamic and supportive manner, adapting to students’ needs and keeping them engaged with the material online through Zoom.
- Motivate your students through a results-oriented, time-tested curriculum to build stronger, more confident learners.
- Demonstrate professionalism by showing up to class on time, replying to students in a timely manner, and holding students accountable for assignments.
- Create an open, safe, and positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a graduate degree
- Confident and engaging discussion leader
- Excellent attention to detail and deadlines
- Availability on nights and/or Saturdays
- Access to a reliable internet connection and computer in a reliably quiet location
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not required

Compensation:
Starting rates are $40/h for non-AP level classes and $50/h for AP-level classes. If you can teach math competition or other high-level classes, you will command greater pay. Overall, rates are negotiable and depend on your credentials, experience, and interview with A ONE.
