The Loeb Center is hosting the Amherst College Job and Internship Fair on Wednesday, September 30, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Alumni Gymnasium’s Middleton Gym.
Students can register on Handshake, but dropping in or just showing up is perfectly fine.
- The Job and Internship Fair is designed for every class year. First-years and sophomores can use the space to learn about different industries, internships, and future post-grad options, while juniors and seniors can use it to connect with recruiters and alumni about open roles and opportunities and evaluate whether organizations align with their professional goals.
- The Loeb Center is running three How to Work a Job Fair prep sessions on Tuesday, September 29 for all class years who would benefit from learning about best practices to navigate the Fair confidently.
- More employers are registering every week.
- There is no formal dress code. We want students to feel comfortable and confident. They can find ideas on how to dress on our Pinterest board, but if they do not have time to change in-between classes or other activities, we encourage them to come as they are.
- Students can preview who is attending, which organizations are hiring international students, the types of opportunities they will have available, and what those employers would like students to know about them using our Job and Internship Fair Employer Information Google Sheet.
