The Five College Consortium has officially launched a brand new certificate for undergraduates here at Amherst College, as well as Hampshire College, Smith College, Mount Holyoke College, and University of Massachusetts Amherst. The Certificate in Education, Policy, Research, and Leadership (EPRL) is a six-course program for those curious about how education policy works and how to use research, data, and policy analysis to understand, strengthen, and lead in educational systems.
All current education studies majors are invited to apply. Once admitted, your coursework will center on research methods and data analysis in order to develop skills to improve systems. This is a great option for those considering graduate school and/or work in the research and non-profit sector.
