Mercy Corps built an AI tool called Methods Matcher that uses retrieval-augmented generation to search past projects, research, and proven practices and give aid workers quick, evidence-based answers to guide decisions in the field. Since its November 2024 launch it’s been adopted across dozens of countries with Cloudera’s support, and Mercy Corps is iterating on the tool with user feedback and plans to add more automated (agentic) features.
