Hi everyone, and welcome to a new academic year! A special welcome to those of you just beginning your Amherst experience. We are so glad you are here. The Loeb Center team is excited to get to know you and work with you this year.
Career development at Amherst goes hand-in-hand with your academic experience. The earlier you connect with us, the more opportunities you will have to reflect on your interests, try out internships and other experiences, and build meaningful connections with alumni and mentors.

Here, you can learn about our advising team, explore programs like the Charles Hamilton Houston Internship Program, and get connected to Handshake, our career platform, where you can book an appointment with an advisor, find internships/jobs, and sign up for workshops and employer recruitment events. And be sure to join us for the Loeb Center Open House on Wednesday, September 10, from 3–5 pm in College Hall. We would love to see you there.
