Are you passionate about amplifying the voices and stories of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities? The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center (APAC) offers two primary internship tracks—Education and Operations—for those passionate about amplifying AANHPI voices. The Education track focuses on expanding AANHPI representation in K-12 education nationwide, allowing interns to work on community partnerships and educational platforms. Meanwhile, the Operations track provides hands-on experience with museum operations, including projects related to upcoming exhibitions. Both tracks offer unique opportunities to deepen your understanding of AANHPI histories and contribute to APAC’s mission of inclusion and representation across the Smithsonian.
